Super Food journey
While on our journey of self care, it’s important to note what we put into our bodies. Not that we have to eat healthily all the time. But starting your day with a good breakfast can really go a long way.
There are lots of great recipes on MindBodyGreen – the pictures will make you drool. And there’s some great new ways to get some protein in to your diet.
Here’s one of our favorites and it’s really easy to make.
- 2 slices vegan whole grain bread
- 2 tablespoons hummus
- 3 slices avocado
- Himalayan pink salt and pepper to taste
Toast bred to desired doneness. Spread each slice with 1 tablespoon hummus. Top with avocado slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
