Repeal the Eight, take time to read Claire’s story

We have 36 days left until the Repeal the Eight Referendum, a chance for US to change things, a vote for Women, a vote for Women’s health!

MyWellbeing is celebrating 10 years in business this year and over that time we have grown to specialise in Women’s Health, from Fertility, through Pregnancy, Post Natal recovery and beyond.  We have been privileged to share in both triumph and adversity, joy and devastation, so  many stories, from so many women, who have faced so many challenges, a vote to Repeal the Eight is a Vote for Women and their health.

One of our students Claire, has generously shared her story with us and TFMR (Terminations for Medical Reasons). Please click below to read her, brave, strong, sad and painful account of loosing her baby boy Henry-Wilson <3

“Scan at 14 weeks, strong heartbeat, I have a fighter on my hands, takes after his mammy. The midwife takes us to another room and spends an hour talking about our options, she recommends Liverpool. They have a special phone number for Irish customers – I’m saddened they need this. They specialise in fatal foetal abnormality cases and will treat me with sensitivity. The hospital are anxious that if I am to travel I do so soon as I will feel movement soon and I will start to doubt the diagnosis. Hope is a dangerous thing.”

Please think about all Women, our sisters, friends, daughters, ourselves and Repeal the Eight.

Thank you so much to Claire for your bravery and strength,

So much love to you, and all our women we have been blessed to work with.
