Energising Breakfast
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But I often find that I’m starving, simply ravenous, only hours after having chowed down on this most important meal. Why is that? A lot of cereals, if you read the packs are just full of sugar which gives you a ‘high’ but then quickly wears off. And if you’re not a big fan of porridge, which I’m not, then the struggle to find something to keep you going is real, I tell ya.
Trust MindBodyGreen to come up with some delicious ideas. This sounds so easy to make as well. Of course, now I just need to organise my self. This weekend!!

Ingredients
- ¼ cup raw rolled oats
- 1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 scoop protein powder (whey or pea protein)
- ½ cup almond milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Preparation
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
